A snapshot of few events:

 

8th and 9th December 2018 – Hands on USG workshop at Thrissur – attended by approx. 70 delegates

​

 

15th and 16th December 2018 – Hands on USG workshop at Hyderabad – attended by approx. 80 delegates

​

 

17th to 20th January 2019 – National conference of Indian Radiology – IRIA 2019 held at PGIMER Chandigarh, had 33 musculoskeletal society members contributed in the conference as faculty and delivered lectures on different topics and also conducted various workshops of MSK imaging. Approx. 2500 delegates attended the conference

​

 

10th February 2019 – MSK USG workshop at Raipur, Chhattisgarh (USG of shoulder, knee, wrist and hand) attended by 44 delegates

​

 

18th to 21st February 2019 – Many members of MSS attended and delivered lectures in Annual conference of Asian Musculoskeletal Society AMS 2019 held at Riyadh

​

 

3rd March 2019 – MSK CME cum workshop at Patna (MRI of shoulder, knee, ankle joints, USG of shoulder, knee, wrist and hands with Hands on USG workshop) attended by more than 100 delegates

​

 

6th and 7th April 2019 – Hands on MSK interventions cadaveric workshop with fresh frozen cadavers at Bagalkot, Karnataka attended by 50 delegates

​

 

13th and 14th April 2019 – Outreach program of Musculoskeletal Society of India at Pokhra – Nepal with MSK MRI sessions and hands on USG workshop attended by 70 delegates (The total Radiologists in the country of Nepal are around 200)

​

 

28th April 2019– Shoulder course at Lucknow with teaching on USG and MRI of shoulder joint attended by more than 50 delegates

​

 

26th May 2019 – MSK MRI CME held at Rohtak (MRI of shoulder, elbow, wrist, brachial plexus, finger, hip, knee and ankle) attended by more than 60 delegates

​

 

9th June 2019 – MSK ultrasound symposium on lower extremity USG at Gurugram attended by 35 delegates

​

 

16th June 2019 – Shoulder imaging – basics to intervention held at Karad (teaching sessions on USG, MRI and interventions in shoulder joint) attended by 40 delegates

​

 

22nd to 25th July Global Health Initiative program of International Skeletal Society was held at PGIMER Chandigarh

 

​

23rd to 25th August 2019 – 7th Annual conference of Musculoskeletal Society of India MSS 2019 held at Pune. It was attended by more than 350 delegates. There were 70 faculties including 10 international faculties who delivered presentations on various topics of MSK imaging. The conference also included MRI workshop (attended by 120 delegates), USG workshop (attended by 60 delegates) and CROP workshop (attended by 70 delegates)

During this conference, first issue of journal of the society – Indian Journal of Musculoskeletal Radiology - IJMSR was released

30th August 2019 – MSS conducted MSK teaching course in association with Srilankan College of Radiology during their annual conference held at Colombo

7th and 8th September 2019 – MSK Hands on USG course at KREST, Hyderabad attended by more than 60 delegates

​

 

 

8th November 2019 – International Day of Radiology was celebrated all over the world. The theme this year was sports imaging. Three members of MSS were interviewed and the interviews were published in IDOR website

​

 

21st and 22nd December 2019 – Master course on MSK MRI at KREST, Hyderabad attended by 170 delegates

​

 

29th December 2019 – MSK course at Indore (MRI and USG of shoulder, Knee and Ankle) attended by 125 delegates

​

 

4th and 5th January 2020 – MSK USG Hands on workshop at Thiruvananthapuram attended by 50 delegates

​

 

12th January 2020 – MSK MRI master class with 25 workstations among 50 attendees at Kolkata

​

 

23rd to 26th January 2020 – 73rd Annual conference of Indian Radiology – IRIA 2020 at Gandhinagar attended by 5000 delegates. 25 members of MSS contributed as faculty for various sessions and workshops of MSK imaging

​

 

18th to 20th March 2020 – AMS 2020 scheduled to be held at HongKong had more than 15 faculties from MSS of India – which is postponed to August 2020

 

​

From 19th April 2020 – MSS has started webinars twice a week on various topics of MSK imaging and each session has by almost 1000 attendees. Dr. Hema Nalini Choudur, Dr. Harun Gupta, Dr. Sameer Raniga, Dr. Rajesh Botchu, Dr. Radhesh Lalam – all eminent international faculties have delivered their presentations on this platform.  Various national faculties including Dr. Raghav Aggarwal, Dr. Joban Babhulkar, Dr. Anupama  Patil, Dr. Arjun Narula, Dr. Vijinder Arora, Dr. Khushboo Pilania, Dr. Nafisa Shakir Batta, Dr. J.P. Singh, Dr. Aditya Daftary have delivered their presentations. Dr. James Griffith is going to deliver his presentation on 14th June.
